How did you get that role?

When I first auditioned, I was so excited to be reading for such a great project I loved the international aspect of it as well as the musical component With Lucy, I was in awe because she had never seen a character similar to me I submitted a self-tape, and one of the scenes was when Lucy just fell into the fountain1 So I jumped into the shower and drenched the scene

Tell us about your character How do others see Lucy?

Lucy is fun-loving, stupid, kind, very, very clumsy She has a big heart and helps friends who are always in need Sometimes Lucy can reconsider things, but no matter how often she falls down, she will always stand up again - literally She is incredibly optimistic and always finds the bright side of life Others described Lucy as someone who beat her drums Her friends know how loyal she is, and her family loves every part of her - stupid, clumsy, nervous, optimistic

What do you like about your character?

I love Lucy very much I love her drive to never give up, even if the odds are against her I also love her goofiness and her caring heart Lucy and I are very similar We love music, art, animals and socializing with friends We both tend to be very clumsy and go for nervous walks, but I think we're both very optimistic

What is it like to be part of a music-centric show?

It is such a dream come true I love acting and singing, so blending them together was a blast I have grown so much as a performer and singer that filming "Home Sweet Rome" has made me even more fond of music

What is unique about Home Sweet Rome?

"Home Sweet Rome"'Is such a unique show It has an international element and blends and explores different cultures It also explores complex topics like loss, fitting, self-discovery, friendship and family It also has such a beautiful message that Lucy learns: You don't have to be anyone but yourself - it's enough to be you

Were there any interesting moments during the filming?

One of my favorite moments was when I ran through the streets of Rome dressed as a giant inflatable dinosaur1 You must have seen the looks of every tourist

Many of the trips and waterfalls seen in the series are actually me falling Whenever I would travel or fall, I would just keep on, and they ended up using a lot of those scenes in the final cut

You speak Italian Do you have a phrase you like

I speak Italian My favorite phrase is "Posso avere un gelato vegano al cioccolato fondente,per favore"This is "Can I eat vegan dark chocolate gelato?"

What was the shooting like in Italy?

Filming in Italy was really fun It was my first time shooting in Europe, so I was so blessed that I was able to shoot in such a beautiful city I loved talking Italian with the locals, eating pasta, eating gelato and occasionally riding a vespa I loved being surrounded by so much beauty and history We got to shoot at some of the most incredible places like the Colosseum, Villa Adriana and the Spanish Steps On weekends, I would walk to Torre Argentina and feed all the Roman cats, which I named after the taste of gelato The Trevi Fountain is so big in real life that it is always crowded, even at midnight I love Rome very much
