In the world of mobile devices, there is no competition as big as the competition between Aple and Samsung When Apple fails, Samsung always seems to be waiting in the wings with some reaction
Case in Point: Apple has recently come under fire for a Crush iPad ad showing that all sorts of tools of human creativity are being crushed and replaced by the latest iPad comes from people upset about Apple for the seemingly callous way the company has dismissed human creativity, especially at a time when advances in artificial intelligence seem to be threatening to do just that It was
Apple may have apologized and admitted that its ads "missed the mark," but that hasn't stopped Samsung from responding with its own ads, subtly knocking the intent behind apple's commercials and promoting the power of its own products
Samsung's ads are simple, but they earn enough points The musician picks up a badly damaged guitar from a pile of crushed items and starts playing The sheet music appears on the screen (it happens to be a Samsung Tab S9, as indicated by the Samsung logo on the back of the device in the second half of the ad) The words "Creativity can't be crushed" pop on the screen The ad fades to black, but not before promoting the Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy AI
As you can see in the video above, the musician in the middle of the ad is a pla with colors bleeding all over it, reminiscent of the confusion at the end of Apple's iPad ad, which is a subtle but fascinating ad for anyone who knows what Samsung is getting
Whether Samsung actually disagrees with Apple's ads is another question, but the company is sending the right message in the current climate Will Apple's ads have a negative impact on iPad sales? Perhaps not With all accounts, including our own iPad Pro2024 review, the new tablet is an incredible device and it will sell well But it's interesting to see the fallout from the ad give Apple's top rivals a chance to get that lick
