Actress Florence Pugh took a break from her appearance in Marvel's next film, "Thunderbolts," to give fans a sneak peak of the movie
Pugh took to Instagram on Wednesday to cheekily introduce what to expect from the film, which is expected to portray an ensemble cast in suits as a team of anti-heroes on a mission for the US government
Her clip began with the actress walking outside the soundstage before opening the door to what appeared to be a dressing room on the set
"I know I'm a little depressed, but that's partially because I was taken out to Atlanta to shoot a movie I'm not really supposed to talk about," she said in the video
"But as long as I don't tell anyone, I can sneak around and show you things I'll show you the set in secret We're filming I'll be quiet now," she said, but was interrupted by director Jake Schreier
"This is not the time for this," Schreier told her, to which Pugh jokingly added, "Someone's coming to rugby tackle you"
She then said, "I'm not going to let you do it
Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova, who first appeared in 2021's The Black Widow and later in the TV show Hawkeye
Dressed in her new costume throughout the video, she gives the camera a wide view of her outfit and the set in general, giving the camera a truly spectacular view of what Belova's costume will look like in "Thunderbolt"
However, while she was open to giving fans a quick look at the "Thunderbolts" set, she ultimately did not reveal too much, except for the director and what appeared to be an editor working on three monitors
Pugh ended the video after showing off the director's chair, which was inscribed with the "Thunderbolts" logo, and moving it toward a scene that she thought she saw herself in on one of the computer monitors seen earlier
The film, the 36th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is directed by Schreier and written by Erik Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Caro In addition to Belova as Pugh, "Thunderbolt" features Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Julia Lewis= as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine Dreyfuss as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross Thunderbolt is scheduled for release on December 20, 2024
