Apple Arcade subscribers will be able to play five titles, including two that are compatible with the Apple Vision Pro: Crossy Road Castle and Solitare Stories
Apple on Tuesday revealed five new games that will be added to its arcade game service
Two of the Apple Vision Pro-compatible games have late release dates, both coming on April 25 The first game, Crossy Road Castle, is by developer Hipster Whale In this game, players flick, twist, and pinch their fingers to advance through levels and play with up to four friends on different Apple devices
The second is "Solitaire Stories" by Red Games CO, which appears to be a more modern take on the classic solitaire The game offers an entirely new way to play by allowing users to interact directly with a virtual deck on a 3D personal card table, wherever they are [Three other games will be released on April 4 and run on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV The first of these games is Super Monsters Ate My Condo+ In this returning title, players swipe to match same-colored condos to feed a pair of adorable monsters [Two other games include the long-awaited return of Sega's "Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop" after nearly a decade away from the App Store Developed by the same team as the console versions, the game includes an original storyline and multiplayer battles for up to four players, with up to 24 characters to choose from
Finally, Sagomini Trips+ combines four preschool games from the Sagomini series, including road trips, boats, planes, and trains Players can travel to different locations with their favorite Sagomini characters in each game
Apple Vision Pro got more games in the April update, which is a great sign that Apple aims to continue supporting this device These two titles offer more of the spatial games that Apple has been promoting for the Apple Vision Pro However, the two games are re-releases of past titles and may struggle to attract new customers to the service
Currently Apple Arcade is available by itself for $699 per month or as part of an Apple One subscription This includes more iCloud storage and access to Apple TV; to learn more about apps for Apple Vision Pro, see our list of the best Apple Vision Pro apps to date
