The news comes directly from the official PlayStation Blog and is quite simple Sony will be holding a PS5 game showcase later today to provide updates on existing titles as well as announce several new ones

"The showcase will last approximately 40 minutes and will include updates from PlayStation Studios and some of the industry's most imaginative developers on games coming out this holiday season and beyond," the post explains

"Some of the industry's most imaginative developers" are also open to third-party entrants, and one game we're eager to hear more about, exclusive to the PS5 console, is "Final Fantasy XVI"
