Hello Strands fans! When I saw the word “Relative” in the clue, I thought it must be about family in some way, and I was lucky to quickly find the longest answer “GRANDCHILD” in the upper right corner.

That made the rest of the puzzle easy. First I got NIECE to its left and REUNION as a spangram below it.

All that was left was to round out the relatives (figuratively): the COUSIN was in the middle of the bottom half, the UNCLE in the lower left, and the NEPHEW just above it.

Two words remained on the right: AUNT above, INLAW below.
