The epic conclusion to the Venom series, starring Tom Hardy, is the latest addition to the long lineup of superhero movies.

The film follows Hardy as journalist Eddie Brock, host of the alien symbiote Venom, on the run after clashing with serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), host of Venom's spawn, the Carnage. After a fierce battle, former detective Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham) is murdered and Bullock becomes society's enemy No. 1 as the prime suspect. In order to prove his innocence, he and Venom head to New York City.

“Venom: The Last Dance” was released in the U.S. on October 25, 2024, marking the end of a release that was marked by various setbacks, including a SAG-AFTRA strike that halted production in 2023. Filming was finally completed at the end of February 2024.

The premiere grossed a low $51 million in the U.S. and $124 million internationally.
