Today is “Stranger Things” Day, and Netflix has released the trailer for “Stranger Things” Season 5 in honor of the occasion.
For those who may not know, “Stranger Things” Day is November 6, the same day that Will Byers first disappeared in 1983 and set the entire Hawkins saga in motion. Yes, this new “Stranger Things” teaser is actually just a modified version of the title sequence, but it still tells us a few things about the new season.
First, it has been confirmed that the new season will indeed drop at some point in 2025. While it is frustrating that this is not an exact release date, it is confirmation that the long wait between seasons will finally end next year.
They also told us that the new season will take place in the fall of 1987, that it has been almost a year and a half since the last trip to Hawkins, and gave us more details on the “Stranger Things” season 5 episode titles (which we list later in this article).
Netflix then released photos from the set of “Stranger Things” Season 5. Check out the following:
New shots include a photo of the core four together for the final chapter, a snap of Steve, Nancy, Dustin, and Jonathan in Steve's car with big smiles on their faces, and Joyce and Jim goofing around, WSQK Radio Station, just moody stills of the radio station, which doesn't say much. [While fans are probably already trying hard to guess what's in these frames, one can't help but think that for the time being, the biggest concern occupying fans' minds will instead be those cryptic episode titles, especially the re-edited ones.

Again, the list of episode names is not as exciting as, say, the actual trailer. But it is enough to dig deep into the lore and start some serious speculation.
As I'm sure everyone else is doing, I immediately started looking for possible clues as to what the gang might be facing this time around. Who are the Camazotz? Who (or what) has disappeared? [23] [24] It's just a list of episode titles, but still enough to keep me occupied while I wait for the next update of “Stranger Things” on one of the best streaming services on the market.
