Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked has come to an end, and the company has announced a variety of goodies The most exciting devices include the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra All of these feature the new Samsung Energy Score feature, which uses AI to assess physical condition based on measured health indicators

According to Samsung, the feature "raises awareness about how your health is impacting your daily life, allowing you to leverage recommendations based on your current physical condition and focus your daily efforts on improving it"

Samsung is releasing this feature for its latest devices, but it is not the only one that benefits from Energy Score and AI Some of the best fitness trackers happen to be various models of the Galaxy Watch, but not all of them

If you have one of these watches (or Galaxy Ring), you can view energy scores based on sleep, activity, sleep heart rate, and sleep heart rate variability However, there are other precautions that must be met besides having the correct watch model

A Samsung smartphone with Galaxy AI capability is required As of this writing, you must own a Galaxy S22 or later Earlier Samsung smartphones are not compatible with Energy Score

The other two requirements are not device-specific, but you must have the Samsung Health app installed on your device and a Samsung account

Thankfully, there are no financial requirements for the new features other than owning a new device Samsung has chosen not to lock everything behind a subscription
