A recent leak has revealed some of the specs for the Galaxy Z Flip 6

The leak comes to us from tipster Anthony (@TheGalox,) who posted the listing on X For reference, the Z Flip 5 was powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with only 8GB of RAM

The leaked information mentions that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a larger screen size, with the external screen expanding to 39 inches This is not the first time this rumor has come to light Display analyst Ross Young also reported the same thing in November 2023 However, this most recent leak also mentions that the main screen will increase to 67 inches and that the hinge and internal layout will be improved

One of the surprising additions Anthony mentions is that the external screen will use the same Corning Gorilla Armor as the Galaxy S24 Ultra; the S24 Ultra's Gorilla Armor gave the device better scratch resistance and anti-glare properties than other models However, when dropped in an Allstate drop test, it did not fare much better

The leak also seems to confirm one of the major rumors about the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the addition of a 50MP main camera and a 12MP secondary lens The post also states that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a 4,000mAh battery This could help remedy one of the weaknesses of the Z Flip series

Finally, Anthony states that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature Galaxy AI and will offer seven years worth of updates With these additions, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be able to keep pace with the Galaxy S24 series, at least as far as basic software is concerned

If these leaks turn out to be true, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 would certainly offer more to customers and would be a clear improvement over the previous model Of course, such leaks should be taken with a grain of salt; we expect both the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Samsung's book-shaped Galaxy Z Fold 6 to be released around August
