Apple's roadmap for the next 3 years leaked - all new products to be introduced

An Apple roadmap detailing major product announcements and feature upgrades was created by Samsung and leaked to X/Twitter by tipster Revegnus

The roadmap comes from Samsung Securities, part of the giant South Korean conglomerate responsible for the financial services business Thus, as one might expect, it is in the company's best interest to know what the world's largest tech company is up to We have already heard some of these claims, but Samsung's analysis adds further weight to these rumors

March 19 update: Korean news media outlet Alpha Business is reporting that the first foldable iPhone will be available in early 2027

The roadmap starts in 2023, so perhaps this is a bit outdated or perhaps the creators just wanted an easy win iPhone 15 Pro 8GB RAM upgrade, iPhone 15 Pro Max 5x periscope zoom upgrade, and the titanium body are mentioned They also mention the Vision Pro and mention the dual M2/R1 chipset, microLED display, and eye tracking camera

The Vision Pro has since topped the 2024 release list and continues to do so Samsung Securities further claims that this year will see the introduction of 11-inch and 13-inch iPads with OLED displays (rumored to be the OLED model of the iPad Pro, among others), and that both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have larger displays and 5x periscope cameras are claimed to be coming However, there is no mention of the standard iPhone 16, which probably means that only limited upgrades can again be expected for the basic new iPhone

Next year will likely see the iPhone SE 4 with a 61-inch OLED display and 48MP camera Perhaps a triple 48MP camera and a 48MP front camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) will be added for the iPhone 17 Pro 12GB of RAM is also on the menu, as is a POL-LESS display, an upgraded OLED panel from Samsung, make the display thinner, brighter, and more efficient

In 2026, the roadmap claims, there may finally be a foldable iPhone This could be 6 inches and 8 inches, according to the graphic, suggesting that Apple is making a book-style foldable rather than the flip-style one we had hoped for However, another report in Korea's Alpha Business magazine suggests that the foldable iPhone could be delayed until early 2027

Beyond that, we can apparently expect a cheaper XR headset to follow the Vision Pro, OLED iPad Air and iPad mini models, and the first OLED MacBooks, which are likely to be Pro models given their 14" and 16" size

The roadmap also claims that Apple will adopt Samsung's faster and more efficient LLW DRAM (detailed by Tom'sHardware) and infrared sensor panel, but we do not know what this last one means exactly

At the end of the roadmap, after 2027, Samsung Securities predicts that Apple will produce the first AR glasses with a 14" RGD microOLED or microLED display As for more established device lines, according to Samsung Securities, this is the year of the 20-inch foldable iPad

As is evident, Apple has much for us to look forward to in the coming years No doubt its rivals, including its colleagues in the mobile division of Samsung Securities, also have much to show off, including more advanced technology than what Apple is rumored to be using in some circumstances But those hoping to get folding or XR/spatial computing devices specifically from Apple will be pleased to know that they are likely to appear

Check the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone SE 4, iPad Pro 2024, Apple Glasses, MacBook Pro OLED, and iPhone Flip hubs regularly for further news on the products mentioned here as they come in I hope you will
