If we are to believe various leaks, we are less than a month away from the Samsung Galaxy S24 announcement, with an event reportedly scheduled for January 17
We're expecting the run-of-the-mill black and white color scheme array that we've seen at any big smartphone launch, but if you want your phone to really stand out, the company seems to have some more exotic shades available
Shared via X (formerly Twitter), WinFuture's Roland Quandt has spotted a supplier purportedly selling replacement SIM card trays for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus Such trays are similar between phones, but the model listed is significant This is why they are not listed as a component of the S24 Ultra, as we expect them to be available in different shades for premium phones
For the S24 and S24 Plus, vendors are offering seven colors at $180 each In addition to the usual black, white, and gold, there is also a violet-like purple and a bright orange
Remember that some of these are exclusive for those buying directly from Samsungcom On the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, they were Graphite and Lime Green
While it is possible that vendors are speculating on the shades of the S24 and offering SIM trays to match, it is worth noting that the full list of colors included - black, orange, green, purple, blue, gold, and white - cross over from the leaker's previous prediction
In October, Ross Young predicted black, gray, violet, and yellow, while orange, light blue, and light green were available as online-only colors
Not the same, but close - especially if you accept that one man's "yellow" is another man's "gold" (the same rules apply to white and gray) Last month, Ice Universe echoed these as well in a post to X:
While most of the big upgrades seem to be headed to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, both the S24 and S24 Plus are getting new chips and - more excitingly - AI-based set to get a host of software improvements Whether these will be game-changers or gimmicks remains to be seen, but we'll find out in a few more weeks
