It should be noted that this is speculation and Ives' prediction taken at face value Apple typically holds its iPhone launch event on a Tuesday and opens reservations on that Friday; the first batch of iPhones usually arrives in customers' hands on the following Friday

If Ives is correct, the iPhone 13 would be announced on September 14, pre-orders would begin on September 17, and the iPhone 13 would go on sale on September 24

Ives did not reveal where he got his information, but given his respectable track record as an analyst and his sources in the supply chain, he has proven himself to be a trustworthy man
