Ever since Microsoft unveiled the Xbox Series X design, jokes have been flying about the size and boxy shape of the console It is so big and boxy that it has been compared to a refrigerator

Clearly, Microsoft has a sense of humor these days So much so that the company actually made a refrigerator in the shape of an Xbox Series X

There are already two Series X refrigerators, one sent to influencer iJustine and the other to Snoop Dogg Apart from the design and the fact that it plays Xbox startup music when you open the door, it's a pretty standard refrigerator But it's not a "normal" refrigerator that can stream "Doom Eternal" Which is unfortunate

As the video shows, iJustine's refrigerator ships in a larger version of the Series X retail box, and its exterior is an upscale replica of the console itself--right down to the various cable sockets on the back However, this custom-built exterior is a bit large and would not fit in my kitchen

Snoop Dogg was a bit excited, but his fridge was already stocked with a variety of items, including an Xbox Series X and a replica cake

This is not the first time Microsoft has taken advantage of such jokes: at an Inside Xbox event in May, host Aaron Greenberg claimed to be streaming from his kitchen, with an Xbox Series X-shaped refrigerator in the background This was not the real thing, but it was a kitchen stacked with an Xbox Series X refrigerator in the background While this was not the real thing, it is yet another example of the Xbox team being happy to poke fun at itself
